PUBLIC NOTICES:

 

1. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Kensington Board of Trustees will conduct a public hearing onApril 24, 2019, at 8:00 p.m., at the Village Hall,2 Nassau Drive, Great Neck, New York, to consider the following local law:

Amending Kensington Codeby the addition of a new Chapter119, entitled “Prohibition of smoking in public places.”

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the proposed local law isavailable for inspection and copying at Village Hall during regular business hours.

At the time and place aforesaid, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.Those persons planning to attend any meeting of the Kensington Board of Trustees and who require listening devices and/or a sign language translator are requested to notify the Village Administrator no less than 48 hours prior to the meeting.

 

2. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Kensington Board of Trustees, sitting as the Planning Board, will hold a public hearing on April 24, 2019, at 8:00 p.m., at the Village Hall, 2 Nassau Drive, Great Neck, to consider the following application:

41 BEVERLY ROAD LLC, owner/applicant, to subdivide a 24,800 square foot parcel into two lots to construct a single-family dwelling on each lot. The subject property is located on the northwest corner of Gilchrest Road and Beverly Drive and is entirely within the Village of Kensington’s Residence “A” Zoning District. The property is commonly known as 41 Beverly Drive and is designated as Section 2, Block 222, Lots 93-102 on the Nassau County Land and Tax Map.

At the time and place aforesaid, all interested persons will have an opportunity to be heard. Those persons planning to attend any meeting of the Board of Trustees requiring special accommodations because of a disability are requested to notify the Village Clerk no less than 48 hours prior to the meeting.
